FIFA TMS 13.00 – release notes

Dear TMS user,

Please note that TMS (prod.fifatms.com) was upgraded to version 13.00 today, Wednesday, 13 May 2026. In our continued efforts to support you and provide efficiency through TMS, the following updates have been implemented.

New Association Task Manager

The notification dashboard has been redesigned and is now called the Association Task Manager. Tabs and notification categories have been reworked to better distinguish between actionable notifications requiring intervention and informational. In addition, task dismissal functionality has been introduced: notifications requiring action will remain active until completed, while informational notifications can be dismissed at any time. Deadlines are now also displayed directly in the Association Task Manager, allowing better tracking of time-sensitive actions.

Please find below some of the key changes introduced:

1. Player confirmation: pending player confirmation now display the time elapsed since the request was made.
2. Loans: notifications have been centralised into a single category to improve visibility - loans to process, loans extended, loans concluded, and loans made permanent.
3. New notifications: two new categories have been added for professional and amateur transfers, namely "Cancelled transfers" and "Registrations without ITC", allowing associations to reflect the registration of players correctly in their NRS.
4. Club duplicates: the list of duplicate clubs can now be exported directly from TMS, facilitating the review and resolution of potential duplicates.

Electronic Player Passport: Updated notifications and deadline displays

For association users, EPP notifications are available under the Training Rewards tab in the "Task Manager"; for club users, they are available on the club dashboard. Notifications have been updated to improve clarity and consistency, with deadlines now displayed to help prioritise actions accordingly.

Notifications are visible by all users within the same organisation and are dismissed when one of the following event occurs:

1. manually dismissed by one of the users
2. EPP status changes
3. the message in the EPP is responded to

Removal of FIFA ID creation in TMS

Further to our communication, "Upcoming change in assigning FIFA ID for players in TMS", it is no longer possible to create a new FIFA ID directly in TMS as of this release. When a player involved in a transfer does not yet have a FIFA ID in TMS, new associations have two options to assign the FIFA ID before confirming registration:

1. select an existing player from the potential duplicate matches prompted by the system from Connect ID,
2. enter the known FIFA ID manually.

We remind you that each Member Association must assign each player a FIFA ID when a player is first registered in its National Registration System. Only electronically registered players identified with a FIFA ID are eligible to participate in organised football.

Please note that this change does not apply to the associations not yet integrated with FIFA Connect ID.
