When a minor player is being transferred internationally, the former Member Association has seven days to state whether it approves or disputes the minor application. It may also submit relevant documents through TMS. Its position does not stop the application process, but the Players’ Status Chamber (“PSC”) may take any information provided into account. If a statement is not submitted, the PSC will make a decision on the basis of the documents available.
As an exception to this rule, for minor applications where one of the humanitarian reasons is selected, the former Member Association will not see the application and will not be able to submit its position. In these cases, once the application has been confirmed, the application status will be “Awaiting assignment”.
To submit your statement, navigate to the “Minors” tab and click “Approve” for the relevant application.
If necessary, you can view the application history by clicking on “History”. Once you are ready, click on “Approve” or “Dispute” accordingly.
Approving the minor application
If you are approving the minor application, you may add optional remarks in the corresponding box and then click on “Approve minor application”.
Disputing the minor application
If you are disputing the minor application, attach your statement by clicking “Upload document”, then click “Dispute minor application”.
Once you have submitted your position on the minor application, its status will be “Awaiting assignment”.
If the former Member Association does not submit its position within the seven-day period, the application will automatically advance to the “Awaiting assignment” status.
